from various books (such as "Teach Yourself Word") is one approach and can quite
often work successfully. Most of the students that start learning in this way
often give up part way through as the author has not explained it properly or in
a confusing way, others give up through boredom.

Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
and Microsoft Powerpoint are the three most popular software applications
in use today. Even with some basic knowledge of these software packages,
you will be able to perform 95% of the tasks required in a typical day at
the office.

Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer (the most popular Web Browsers)
for viewing Web sites around the world, or Email packages such as Outlook
or Eudora to keep you in-touch with your Family, Friends and Clients. A
small one hour introductory session will have you using the packages with

of other packages to help you understand how to perform certain tasks, such as
Image/Picture manipulation using a variety of packages like the Lview Image
