Maintenance

Is there such a thing? Yes there is! As you use your computer, add and remove software/programs, add and remove data the hard disk and Registry becomes more fragmented. This fragmentation can cause many issues and one may be that your computer will be operate much slower than when you first purchased it.

In addition to this, modern computer software leaves hundreds of temporary files on your disk using up valuable disk space. You may not notice this until one day you will have a problem saving a file or loading a new program.

Add to this the problems of  Adware,  Malware, Spyware, Virus and Trojans which are rife if you are connected to the Internet.  All these will grind you system to a crawling pace.

It would be too all to easy for us or anyone to recommend you purchase a bigger better and expensive system or bigger hard drive / disk, but instead we could perform our software maintenance and you will more than likely find the existing system and hard drive is just fine afterwards.

Software Installation/Removal

It is not often we provide this service as Software installation on modern computers is quite reliable, however there is always a chance something goes wrong or produces an error message which is meaningless to everyone.

Here is just one Email comment we received from a UK software company:

"Unfortunately, despite our best attempts, we have NEVER managed to get the software (you are the first company I know of who has succeeded in this - all the other computer experts I know have failed as well), so we haven't been able to test it yet."

If necessary we can provide this service to you if you encounter such problems with your software installations.

If you have decided to upgrade your Operating System, we can assist you in this as well. Some system upgrades are not as simply as some might tell, and in some instances, it is better to format your hard drive and start from scratch with the new Operating Software.

Without realising, many computer users have software packages they do not use, or have installed a software package in the past which they no longer use.  Removing these from you system can release significant amounts of disk space and make your computer faster. De-Installation programs supplied with these programs do not always remove all of the files associated to the software from your disk.

Software Repairs

Most problems in this area are caused by the changing of a file stored on the computer so that the programs no longer works with the operating or application software. Typical occurrences of this are the Windows Software crashing with an exception error of some type. Even the Vendors support desk staff struggle to deal with this type of problem, so what chance do you have?

There is always an explanation for everything. It could be an error on your disk, a missing file, or an old driver file which has been installed which is not compatible with your system. The list is endless.

We can't change the coding of the program as laws prohibit us from doing this, but we are confident we can get the operating or application software running again (or for the first time on your system).
