Choose from six modular starter kits with preinstalled components designed to support new applications, provide outstanding network availability, and help ensure access to the network from anywhere. Or use either of our seven-slot or eight-slot chassis as your complete, self-contained network. Customize with redundant power supplies and management engines. In addition, the eight-slot chassis of the Switch 4007R provides an extra slot for an optional redundant switch fabric.

The Switch 4007 and Switch 4007R let you scale your backbone as your requirements change. Add optional I/O and switching modules for more Layer 2 and Layer 3 Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet ports.
